Life insurance when you open a youth account
Children and teens are eligible to receive $1,000 of complimentary group term life insurance coverage with an active FAT CAT® Account or Zard Account. Coverage is available through the age of 19 or as long as a youth account is maintained. For details read the Certificate of Insurance.
Supplemental Premium Reminder
The $18 annual premium for members who have already purchased the $9,000 supplemental FAT CAT and Zard Group Term Life Insurance coverage will be withdrawn from their accounts on May 1, 2024. Please contact your local branch by April 24, 2024 if any changes are needed.
Increase coverage for added protection
For $18 per year, an additional $9,000 of life insurance is also available. For FAT CAT and Zard members under 15 years old, a parent or guardian can increase the coverage on their behalf. Teens age 15 or older can increase coverage for themselves.
