Board of Directors

Noland began his service with LGFCU in 2007 by serving on its Northern Mountain Advisory Council. He joined the Board of Directors in 2014. Noland is the Town Manager for the Town of Wilkesboro and has been a member of LGFCU since 1996.

Dear began his service with LGFCU by serving on the Foothills Advisory Council. He was nominated and elected to serve on the Board of Directors in 2012. Dear is retired from Cleveland County as its Manager.

Barnes began her service with LGFCU in 1984 by serving on the LGFCU Supervisory Committee. She was elected to serve on the LGFCU Board of Directors in 1990 and has served in all Board Officer positions. Barnes currently serves as Chair of the Asset Liability Committee. She retired from the Wake County ABC Board as Finance Director, and currently works in Carteret County as a Real Estate Broker.

Erwin began her service with LGFCU in 1994 by serving on the LGFCU Supervisory Committee, where she served as Chair until being nominated to the Board of Directors in 2008. Erwin has worked for the City of Raleigh, Town of Chapel Hill, Durham Public Schools and Office of the State Auditor. She holds the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and is a Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM).

Jones began his service to LGFCU on the Supervisory Committee, where he served as committee Chair. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 1996 and has served in all Board Officer positions. Jones holds the designation of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is a member of the North Carolina Association of CPAs, and the American Institute of CPAs. Jones is the retired Finance Director of the Town of Garner.

Miller is the Chair of the Compensation Committee. He began his service with LGFCU in 1999 by serving on its Eastern Carolina Advisory Council. Miller joined the Board of Directors in 2000. He is the retired Executive Director of the North Carolina State Firefighters’ Association.

Noble began his service with LGFCU as a member of its former Northern Piedmont Advisory Council in 1997. He later served on the Loan Review Committee for several years prior to his appointment to the Board of Directors in 2011. Noble is retired as the Human Resources Director for the City of Burlington.
