Your Credit Union is focused on helping your credit recover from the impact of COVID-19. As an important part of our Strategic Business Plan, LGFCU is beginning a two-year campaign with our "Credit Score Mentor" to help members get back on track and stay on track with a good credit score. Maintaining a good credit score can open doors to dream jobs, housing, credit and more.
The foundation of your credit history is your credit score. A credit score is like a report card assigned by credit reporting agencies, such as Equifax, Experian or TransUnion. These agencies collect records of your credit activity from lenders like credit card issuers, mortgage companies and other creditors.
Along with the Credit Score Mentor, your Credit Union will provide tips and resources to guide you to a stronger credit score.
