When members asked us to expand the ways we communicate, we knew immediately social media would be a great way to directly have conversations with you. Social media pairs nicely with credit union philosophy because of its grassroots nature—people with a common bond coming together as a community to engage other people.
We want to talk to you about issues that matter to you and hopefully together we’ll come up with even more ways to fulfill our mission to improve the lives of members.
We’d like our channels to be a place for you to find and share financial tips and other items of interest with other members, and get to know more about LGFCU. Since this is a place for people with a common bond to connect, we want to make sure social media is an enjoyable and safe environment. These guidelines set the standard of conduct for the Credit Union staff and members so that our interactions are of value.
