Local Government Federal Credit Union encourages you to engage in open discussion on our social media sites. We look forward to reading your comments about your experiences. We do make reasonable efforts to monitor all of our social media channels to ensure that posted comments are appropriate.

Information posted on our social media platforms should not be considered expert financial advice and should not replace a consultation with a certified financial planner, tax professional, accountant and/or attorney.

You should not expect that your online postings will remain private. Please use caution when posting personal information on any of LGFCU's social media sites including but not limited to, identifiable information such as your location, account number, financial information, or other private information. Social Media Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern your use of any social media platform operated by LGFCU and are subject to change without notice.

You are responsible for the content you post and all activity that occurs under your account. LGFCU has no responsibility to you or any third-party for any material you post or any breach of your obligations under this Comment Policy. You may not misrepresent yourself or take on the identity of someone else while using LGFCU sites.

You agree not to use any of LGFCU's sites for:

  • Defamation
  • Harassment
  • Spam
  • Offensive content
  • Aggressive behavior
  • Illegal activities

You agree not to post content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory or threatening or abuse intellectual property rights on LGFCU sites.

LGFCU reserves the right to review, edit and/or delete any of your postings at its sole discretion. While LGFCU makes reasonable efforts to monitor posted content, it cannot always respond in a timely manner to online requests for information. LGFCU may, at its sole discretion, terminate access to LGFCU social media channels.

Opinions and views expressed by individuals as postings on LGFCU sites are not necessarily the view, endorsement, or support of LGFCU, its officers, employees, staff, or members of its Board of Directors. LGFCU also does not endorse or support the accuracy of the information posted.

All links to other websites are part of efforts to serve online participants. LGFCU is not responsible for the content of these linked websites and such linkage does not constitute endorsement of those sites by LGFCU.
