A foundation for financial goals

Prepare a spending plan

Personal financial planning is another complimentary service for local government employees and LGFCU members.

Spending Plan

Putting together a spending plan, sometimes known as a budget, is an important part of managing money. Once you’ve taken an inventory of your financial accounts, insurance policies, debts and income, you can begin tracking and estimating your expenses.

Whether you work directly with our certified planners or download and complete a Personal Money Management Workbook and tackle it yourself, this small step can pay great dividends for a long time.

Financial Planning

LGFCU does not offer specific investment advice, nor will we recommend any specific course of action. Our goal is to empower you to make decisions to achieve your long-term financial goals.

Let us help you with the following types of plans:

Specific Goal Plan

Determines how much money you need to save to achieve financial goals such as buying a second home, adopting a child, buying your first car, or maybe just taking a dream vacation.

Education Plan

Determines how much money to save for education needs for yourself or your children.

Retirement Plan

Projects what current and future progress toward your retirement goal will yield—at and during retirement.
