Green Mortgage

The Credit Union makes it easy to be green with a mortgage specifically for new and existing homes that have received an ENERGY STAR rating.

Is your house green? Find out if it qualifies for an ENERGY STAR rating and a green mortgage.

• Meets guidelines for energy efficiency set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
• Is at least 15% more energy efficient than homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code
• Includes additional energy-saving features that typically make them 20-30% more energy efficient than standard homes
• Is validated by an independent third party inspector that is trained specifically on the home energy rating system (HERS) guidelines.
