Advisory Councils
LGFCU's regional Advisory Councils provide a platform for the Board and credit union management to educate members on the benefits of credit union membership. The Councils also serve as a way to relay feedback to the Board and management regarding available/potentially available products and services, delivery of service and member needs.

- Central Coast Council represents Lenoir, Craven, Jones, Pamlico, Onslow and Carteret counties.
- Central Mountain Council represents Avery, McDowall, Mitchell, Yancey and Madison counties.
- Central Piedmont Council represents Iredell, Rowan, Davie and Stanly counties.
- Eastern Carolina Council represents Martin, Pitt, Beaufort, Greene, and Washington counties.
- Foothills Council represents Caldwell, Alexander, McDowell, Burke, Catawba, Lincoln and Cleveland counties.
- North Piedmont Council represents Rockingham, Guilford and Randolph counties.
- North Triangle Council represents Franklin, Granville, Vance and Warren counties.
- Northern Coast Council represents Camden, Currituck, Tyrell, Dare and Hyde counties.
- Northern Mountain Council represents Watauga, Ashe, Alleghany, Wilkes, Surry and Yadkin counties.
- Roanoke-Chowan Council represents Perquimans, Pasquotank, Hertford, Gates, Bertie and Chowan counties.
- Sandhills Council represents Anson, Montgomery, Moore, Lee, Richmond, Scotland, Hoke, Cumberland and Robeson counties.
- South Piedmont Council represents Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Gaston and Union counties.
- Southern Coast Council represents Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, New Hanover, and Pender counties.
